GERD (GASTRO OESOPHAGEAL REFLUX DISEASE)
GERD is caused when the valve between the oesophagus and stomach becomes weak. Normally, this valve opens to allow food in and then it shuts with GERD, the valve stays open, allowing stomach acids to flow back upto the oesophagus ,causing heart burn and many other symptoms. Symptoms:- -chest pain. -heart burn -belchings -hyper acidity. -pain while swallowing food. Treatment:- -Shamanam. -Shodhanam. -Pitta hara drugs
